MAKING DOWNTOWN A DESTINATION

Downtown Uxbridge is the heart of our community. With the Brock Street Culvert project complete, we have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to create a vibrant downtown that reflects our heritage while supporting local businesses and attracting visitors.

A key part of that vision is the redevelopment opportunity at the northeast corner of Brock Street and Toronto Street. I will continue supporting the creation of a future Town Square, together with the redevelopment of 168 Brock Street West, creating a welcoming downtown where people can live, shop, dine, and gather.

I will also continue championing the Heritage Rail District and Centennial Park, creating connected public spaces that celebrate our history, enhance tourism, and strengthen our local economy.

Our residents deserve a downtown they can be proud of—one that is vibrant, walkable, and recognized as a destination across Durham Region. That is the vision I will continue working to achieve.
